Since 2008 we have shipped our own games, apps and portals. Each one taught us something we now bring to client work.
Rounded Strategy 2
Hex-free turn-based strategy. 2014 and 2026.
A proprietary turn-based engine that replaces grids and hexes with circles connected by lines. The 2014 release shipped on Google Play, Amazon Appstore and Kongregate. It now returns as Rounded Strategy 2 in Three.js and as the wooden tabletop game Pagania.

About the studio
Eighteen years of building things from scratch
B1X is a small, independent software studio run by Kuba Błądek. Our story starts in Nowa Huta, Kraków: in 2008 we launched the community portal TerazHuta.pl, and in 2010 we co-created NHpedia, an interactive encyclopedia of the district built for its 60th anniversary.
In 2012, as the indie studio NowaHutaGames, we began building Rounded Strategy: a turn-based strategy with no hexes and no premium currency that debuted at Digital Dragons 2014 and shipped on Google Play, Amazon Appstore and Kongregate. Today the same proprietary engine returns as Rounded Strategy 2 and the Pagania universe.
In 2019 we unveiled B1X, a streaming-payments platform built on the XRP Ledger and the Interledger Protocol, and founded B1X sp. z o.o. in Rzeszów the same year. Since then we have released Queen Wanda, an educational game with AI-driven dialogue, and we now run Bull Navigator, a live XRP trading-bot dashboard.
In parallel, we have spent many years delivering contract engineering for large organisations: Sabre, Bosch, SmartStream Technologies, FizzyComp and INDO online.
